Terms to know

There are a large number of things which have given names but most of the people don’t know about. Some of them are as :

Glabella : the space between your eyes

Nurdle : the blob of toothpaste on your brush

Vagitus : the cry of a newborn baby

Tines : the prongs on a fork

Lunule : the white crescent shaped part of the nail

Box tent : the tiny table in the middle of a pizza

Ferrule : the metal part at the end of a lead pencil

Minimus : your little toe

Tittle : the dot over ‘i’

Columella nasi : the space between your nostrils

Lemniscate : the infinity symbol

Armscye : the arm hole in clothings

Griffonage : the unreadable handwriting
